C.A.T.S. Ambassadors

Thank you for your interest in being a C.A.T.S. Ambassador - Applications have closed for the 2026-2027 School Year.

More information on the program:

Benefits of being involved:

  • Great way to show leadership in your school
  • Great activity to include on your resume
  • Community Service Hours
  • Freshmen students tend to be worried about upperclassmen and their perception of them. You can help bridge that gap.
  • Transferring to a new school in high school is hard. You can help make someone's day a little easier by showing them around and getting to know them.

Expectations**:

  • Ambassadors will be expected to be present at Freshmen Orientation on the Friday morning before school starts.
  • Ambassadors will have a group of freshmen that they work with throughout the year.
  • Our goal is that every month throughout the year you will meet with your freshmen mentees to work on teambuilding and other activities. Ambassadors are expected to meet prior to those monthly meetings to discuss what the topic will be during that week.
  • It is expected that ambassadors will attend all meetings and be there for their assigned students.
  • For transfer students, ambassadors will provide tours around the school, eat lunch with them the first day or two that they are here, and meet with them once a month to check in.

** Many aspects of the program depend on the number of ambassadors we have next year.

Process:

  • Applications are due by Wednesday, April 1, 2026
  • New C.A.T.S. Ambassadors will be announced by May 1, 2026.
  • A training session will occur on May 22nd to discuss expectations and plan for next school year.
  • A Freshmen Orientation Planning Meeting will occur on August 6th at 3:30pm prior to back to school night to review expectations and duties at Freshmen Orientation on August 7th.
  • Failure to attend either the training session or Freshmen Orientation will result in your release from the ambassador program.
