Description: Educators Rising is a community-based model, in which chapters at schools feed teacher preparation programs at institutes of higher learning with the support of State Departments of Education and local funders and foundations.
Purpose: To help support students who are interested in the field of education by providing opportunities to learn about programs of higher education and field experience.
Description: FBLA is the co-curricular CTE student organization for Business and Informational Technology students. Meetings are typically held after school with occasional conference field trips and service projects.
Purpose:The RCHS Chapter of FBLA promotes business skills and knowledge, supports our local community, and promotes student leadership.
Description: FCCLA offers members the opportunity to expand their leadership potential and develop skills for life--planning, goal setting, problem solving, decision making, and interpersonal communication--all necessary within the home and workplace. FCCLA is unique among youth organizations because its programs are planned and run by members. It is the only Career and Technical in-school Student Organization with family as its central focus.

Description: FFA is the premier youth organization preparing members for leadership and careers in the science, business and technology of agriculture.
Purpose: Our club is intracurricular and is required by federal law since RCHS teaches/offers agriculture classes.
Description: Formerly known as Health Occupations Students of America, this student led organization gives students opportunities to explore careers, develop leadership skills, and participate in skills competition.
Purpose: To prepare students in all areas of healthcare
Description: National History Day is a regional, state and national history competition where students are given a prompt and create a project to present for judging at competition.
Purpose: To engage students more with history and give them a chance to research a topic that is related to the yearly prompt as well as their interest.
This is the RCHS Chapter of the National Honor Society. As a service organization, the RCHS-NHS completes many important projects throughout the year. Members are expected to participate in at least 4 of our NHS projects and complete 20 hours of independent community service each year. Members are also expected to maintain their GPA at 3.0 or higher, be leaders within the school community, and hold themselves to the highest standards of character.

Description: TSA enhances personal development, leadership, and career opportunities in science, technology, engineering, and math, whereby members apply and integrate those concepts through intracurricular activities, competitions, and related programs.
Purpose: To use the skills learned in class and apply them to projects for competitions and the community.
Description: Y Street is the Virginia Foundation For Healthy Youth’s award-winning volunteer initiative for high school students.
Purpose: To allow an opportunity for students to advocate for the health of our youth in VA. There are two campaigns they focus on each year. For the 25-26 school year, they are "Rev Your Bev" and "Share the Air".
