1st Semester Exam Schedule

Rockbridge County High School will be giving 1st Semester Exams on the following schedule:

Date Exams Scheduled School Day Schedule
December 16 4th Period Exam Full School Day
December 17 1st & 5th Period Exams 2-Hour Early Release
December 18 2nd & 6th Period Exams 2-Hour Early Release
December 19 3rd & 7th Period Exams 2-Hour Early Release

 

 

 

 

Exams will count for 10% of the First Semester Grade.

Attendance will be taken for all parts of the school day during exams. 

Parking Passes

Parking Passes will be available beginning in mid-July! Any Junior or Senior driving to school will need to obtain an RCHS parking pass. Please complete the RCHS Student Parking Pass Application and return it to the main office. Forms can be printed and submitted in person or completed using DocHub and emailed to Ms. Emrey or Ms. Hamilton.  A fee of $20 is due when you pick up your pass. Freshmen and Sophomores are not eligible for parking privileges without approval from an administrator.

Resources

Stakeholders were invited to become part of the collaborative effort to develop the comprehensive plan. A committee was formed to evaluate and prioritize the data from the planning survey that was gathered in the fall of 2022. Stakeholders — including parents, community members, students, teachers, and local business leaders and partners, as well as school and division level administrators — worked for months using the survey data to not only envision a future for RCPS, but also to develop a road map to take us there.

School attendance is critical for academic achievement and the preparation of students for the world of work. Each parent/guardian, having charge of a student within the compulsory attendance age, shall be responsible for the student's regular and punctual attendance at school as required by Virginia law.
