Club Photo Day will be on Thursday, November 3 in the Gym. You must have a pass for each club photo. Ask your club sponsor for passes.

Girl's Basketball Try-Outs - There will be a meeting for girls intested in trying out for basketball after school on Thursday, November 3 in Room A4. Try-outs will be held Monday, November 7 at 5:30 in the Gym. Please see Coach Coffey if you cannot attend the November 3 meeting.

Cheerleading tryouts for basketball season will be held on Monday and Tuesday, Nov. 7 & 8 from 3:30-5:30 in the RCHS Cafeteria. Don’t forget you must have a current VHSL Physical on file in the Athletic Office to tryout.  If you are unsure whether you a have current VHSL Physical, check with Mr. Rogers in the Athletic Office.

FBLA will meet Wednesday, November 9 from 3:30-4:30 in Room T2. All members and business students are encouraged to attend.

Governor's School for Visual & Performing Arts - Students wishing to apply should turn in their essays and teacher recommendations to Room 101 by Monday, November 7.

The RCHS Lip Sync Contest will be held on Monday, November 21. Imitate your favorite music artist or group! Cash prizes ($100 for 1st, $75 for 2nd, $50 for 3rd, and $50 for People's Choice) will be awarded! Sign up for the Lip Sync Contest in Room T6 by Thursday, November 3!

College Applications - Seniors, if you are applying to a college in December or January, please be sure to turn in your blue sheet and brag sheet to Mrs. van Ravenswaay in the counseling office THIS WEEK!

FAFSA Information Session - Seniors, do you need help filling out your FAFSA? Come to Super FAFSA Thursday from 4-7:30 pm at Dabney's Rockbridge Regional Center in BV. For questions or to schedule an appointment, call (540) 863-2897 or email Ms. Hall at hhall@dslcc.edu.

FAFSA Deadlines for Seniors - Do not forget to file for your FAFSA! Priority filing deadlines are approaching fast.

Meet the Authors - Come and meet authors that are visiting RCHS. Book talks will take place in the Library Media Center or Auditorium.

Donuts - If you missed out on the sophomore sale of donuts, no worries. The juniors are now taking orders until November 3. Glazed will be $7/dozen, and specialty donuts will be $8/dozen. Help support the Junior Class!

The SCA Blood Drive will be Thursday, November 17 from 8:30 am-2:30 pm. Sign-ups begin November 9 in the Cafeteria during all three lunches. All participants ages 16-17 must have a parental consent form. Forms available on the SCA Bulletin Board.

Juniors and Seniors - Interested in getting away to Costa Rica? We have two spots left for our trip. If you are interested, see Mr. Martin (Room 205) or Ms. St. Clair (Room 203) for information packets.

Senior Lunch Bunch will meet every Tuesday and Thursday from 11:15-12:20 in the Library Periodicals Room until November 17. Need help with the SAT/ACT or your college essay? Have questions about the Common App or scholarship applications? Lunch Bunch is a program offered by W&L's College Access Program where W&L students will help students with college related questions. See Mr. Rapoza for more information.

The Yoga Club will meet Mondays after school in the Cafeteria from 3:15-4:15. Mats will be provided. Students and teachers are invited.

Senior Baby Ads! If you are interested in sending in a baby ad for the yearbook, Baby Ads are due Friday, November, 18th 2016. You can pick up an order form in Room 114.

TLC (Teens Loving Christ) will meet on Wednesdays at 7:50 am in Room 131.

UKULELE CLUB will meet on Tuesdays at 7:45 am in Room 217B.

The RCHS Library Media Center is offering free drop-in tutoring for all RCHS students. Tutoring and homework help is available on Monday and Tuesday afternoons until 4:30 PM. Students wishing to stay after school for tutoring must report to the library between 3:15 and 3:30 PM and sign in at the front desk. Students must have their own transportation arranged and leave campus when the library closes at 4:30 PM or go directly to another school-sanctioned and supervised activity. Students will receive a signed proof-of-attendance slip from the WLU tutors that parents and teachers can use for verification of attendance. Boys Lacrosse off season conditioning will be held every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Participants must have a current physical on file.
