Sign Up for the Lip Sync Contest! FBLA’s 8th annual charity Lip Sync Contest is coming up! So if you think you can imitate your favorite singer or group it’s time to start planning your act. The contest will be held on Monday, November 19th at 7:00 p.m. in the auditorium. There is prize money available for the top three performances and for People’s Choice. All ticket and concession sales will benefit the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Sign up with Ms. Wallace in T6.

FBLA will meet after school from 3:30-4:30 on Wednesday, October 24 in Room T2. All current and former business students are welcome to attend.

Get Your Ghost Grams! The Freshman class will be selling Blop Pop Ghost Grams for 50 cents each during lunches on October 24, 25 & 26. Send a ghost gram with a positive message! The ghost grams will be delivered on Halloween.

Attention All Students Using the RCS School Bus System - If you make ANY changes to your regular bus schedule, you MUST have a not from a parent/guardian and the note must be signed by a school secretary.

Meet the Author - Come meet and greet authors that are visiting RCHS. Presentations will take place in the Library Media Center. Note: The Library will be closed during these periods!

History Book Club - Check out what we are reading this semester. Sons and Soldiers by Bruce Henderson, and Islanders: The Pacific in the Age of Empire by Nicholas Thomas. Consider joining us! See Mrs. Williamson (room 123) or Mr. Gallagher (room 108) for more information.

Final Photo Retake Day for Seniors, Underclassmen & Faculty will be Thursday, October 25 in the Auditorium. This is your last chance to be pictured in the yearbook!

Senior Baby Ads - Seniors, want your baby picture in the yearbook? Then don't forget to turn in your senior baby ads to Room 114 by Friday, November 16! Tell your family!

College Reps Visiting RCHS - Sign up in the Counseling Office if you would like to meet with a college representative.

Destination Imagination - If you are interested in joining the RCHS Destination Imagination Team, scan the QR code from the monitor announcements at school.

High School Students Dropped Off at Fairfield. You may be dropped off before 7:30 a.m. at the main entrance of the school. After that time students are to be dropped off in the drop off line at the back of the school. Vehicles will have to wait in the car line, drive slowly and exit as everyone else. There are no exceptions to drop and go. Students can walk through the 2nd and 3rd grade hallways to the front of the school. Students may not be dropped off on Route 11, as there are no crosswalks. Students have the option of riding the bus or being dropped off at their current school.

Ukulele Club! Thursday mornings at 8 a.m. in Room 217B. No experience is needed. This is not a school sponsored club.

Attention AP Students - It is time to order your AP Tests for Spring. Registration is due by Friday, November 2, 2018. Letters have been mailed to your home with the registration form. If you need another one, please stop by the school counseling office or see your AP teacher. You do not want to miss your deadline for ordering the tests!

After School Tutoring - The Library Media Center in coordination with Washington & Lee will again offer FREE after-school tutoring to all RCHS students. Tutors can help with Spanish, all core subjects, and SAT/ACT prep. Fall semester tutoring is offered every Monday and Wednesday from 3:30 to 4:30 PM in the library through December 5th. Students wishing to participate should come to the library at 3:30 PM to sign in. They should also arrange transportation as the library closes at 4:30 PM on Mondays and Wednesdays.

Free Language Tutoring during all 3 lunches! Struggling with Spanish? Frustrated with French? Come to the Language Lab! Spanish tutoring during all 3 lunches in room 204. French tutoring during all 3 lunches in room 209.

FCA Meetings - FCA will meet every Thursday at 7:50 a.m. in Room A4. This is not a school-sponsored event.

The RCHS Chess Club will meet on Mondays from 3:30-4:30 p.m. in the RCHS Library. All students are welcome!

Attention Juniors and Seniors - Remember to get your parking passes! Cost is $20. Forms are available in the Main Office. If you are an Early Release student, you will need to park in the Early Release lot!

Anyone who needs to sign up for Behind the Wheel should do so ASAP in the Men's PE office.
